Study duration: 1.5 years (3 semesters). 87 credits are provided to achieve the study results of the study program: study subjects - 72 credits, final practice - 6 credits, final thesis - 9 credits.


Realizacion of studies: studies will be performed in a permanent / permanent session form.


Study methods: contact works (part of the studies will be carried out remotely), non-contact works, practice, final project design. Teaching by distance non-contact work in a virtual learning environment or using other information communication technologies.

STUDIED MODULES (SUBJECTS) DESCRIPTIONS

 

1 - Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to form students' knowledge about the new economic processes taking place in the knowledge society business and the influence of entrepreneurship on these processes, as well as the practical entrepreneurial skills needed to find new opportunities and implement innovative business ideas. It also aims to equip and consolidate entrepreneurial skills, including understanding and analyzing entrepreneurial opportunities, entrepreneurial processes and models, understanding and learning to value a range of business opportunities, including self-employment, assessing the impact of the global environment on business and providing basic knowledge for modern knowledge society. Challenges for global business. The aim is to develop students' ability to organize and manage the organization's activities, belief in their own success and the achievement of set goals; desire to be independent; creativity; estimated risk; perseverance and determination.

 

2 - Business Information Technologies and Digitalization (6 ECTS Credits)

 

During the studies, students get acquainted with cloud computing technologies and services, learn to apply business-relevant cloud computing solutions, create databases, analyze data stored in databases, use customer relationship management systems.

 

3 - Applied Mathematics (6 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to develop mathematical literacy, to attain sufficient knowledge to solve economic problems, to analyse and work out mathematical models, to solve financial mathematical problems and find rational solutions, also, to evaluate the results critically. Having completed the course, students will be able to solve financial mathematical problems using computer programs. They will also analyse investments and will systematize existing data and will process collected data, moreover, students will hypothesize and forecast, will work out mathematical models and optimal plans of transporting, economy of materials and job planning. Furthermore, they will make and solve

differential equations, form base financial operation models, will be able to analyse and estimate investments and draw up an optimal investment plan. Finally, students will form and solve linear equation systems, apply concepts of the theory of functions and differentiation to indicate the elasticity of functions.

 

4 - Statistics (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to help students to be able to select necessary documents, to perceive the importance of information in the performance of the company and know the sources of information. What is more, to attain sufficient knowledge to systematize and generalize data, calculate statistical indicators, prepare and analyse statistical accounts (reports). Finally, to prepare information and furnish consumers with it. Having completed the course, students will know the search principles of statistical information and will apply them while looking for it. They will also generalize the collected statistical information, carry out its analysis, and make statistical calculations to perform data analysis.

 

5 - Sociology (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Subject aims to help students to attain sufficient knowledge about the society's social, economic and political structure, its peculiarities, to evaluate relevant theories, methodological principles and conformity with the law.

What is more, to organize an applied research according to the plan and be able to participate in action planning of the organization policy.

Having completed the course, students will be able to select and apply the research method adequately for the analysis of provided services, perceive the basic terms, concepts and categories of social science and show their abilities of methodological assessments.

 

6 - Environment and Human Safety (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to help students to attain sufficient knowledge to organize and execute work, to know employees‘ duties, responsibilities and rights, also, to register industrial safety and health documents officially.

Moreover, to apply safety requirements in the company and make decisions in extreme conditions. Having completed the course, students will be able to organize work, they will know employees‘ duties, rights and responsibilities, what is more, students will formalize industrial safety and health documentation and will apply safety requirements in the company. Finally, they will be able to make decisions in extreme conditions.

 

7 - Fundamentals of Management (3 ECTS Credits)   

 

The subject aims to provide students with knowledge and skills of management science to apply the principles and theories of management science, on the basis of which students will be able to plan, organize, motivate and control the personnel needed to achieve goals and make appropriate decisions in personnel, production, innovation, change, organizational culture management.

 

8 - Human Resource Management (6 ECTS Credits)     

 

The subject aims to provide students with knowledge of attracting and maintaining human resources, on the basis of which students will be able to identify and solve problems of employee motivation and job satisfaction, form motivating reward systems, communicate effectively, resolve conflicts constructively, form teams and manage them.

 

9 - Fundamentals of Law (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to help students to attain sufficient knowledge to analyse the most important legal categories, to know the fundamental legal regulations, evaluate legal information and apply legal acts in practice. Having completed the course, students will be able to analyse the essence of juridical categories and will know essential law theories. Moreover, they will know the constitutional, labour, criminal, administrative, civil and commerce legal regulations, will be able to select, understand and estimate juridical information related to business, finally, they will set up their business, organize company activities and apply standard law acts in practice.

 

10 - Business Economics +K (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to help students attain sufficient knowledge to organize a business company, analyse its environment and calculate prime cost and cost of the product. Furthermore, to know how to organize a business company of different kinds, to calculate labour and capital needs for the company, be able to evaluate business risk and work out a business plan. Having completed the course, students will be able to evaluate business environment and conditions, they will know various kinds of business companies, also, the establishment ways. What is more, students will be able to evaluate potential clients, competitors and their own opportunities in the market, will

use information sources and work out a business plan, finally, they will be able to organize activities of production and commercial enterprises, will calculate the company's activity results and analyse the main indicators of performance.

 

11 - Sustainable Development (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject aims to help students to acquire knowledge and understand the basics of the concept of sustainable development, principles, their relationship with the quality of human life, to be able to apply the acquired knowledge in typical practical situations.

 

12 - Strategic Management of Organizations (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The module consists of two different subjects: strategic management of organizations and project management. The basic objective of the strategic management of organizations subject is to provide students with the knowledge and skills of applying strategic management means of organizations, explaining the advantages for long term activity success. Having completed the course, students will be able to explain the formation, development and content of the concept of strategic management, will know the stages of this process and will also define the process of strategic planning, its methodological aspects, advantages and the main documents regulating the performance of strategic planning. What is more, students will analyse and apply the principles, means and methods of strategic analysis and foresee their opportunities in the context of different organizations, they will also be able to evaluate the peculiarities of vision, mission and aim phrasing in different organizations. Finally, students will analyse strategic concepts and various strategic levels in the organization and will understand the principles of the change management and explain the policy of quality management in the company. 

 

13 - Alternatives: Leadership/Art of Eloquence (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Leadership. The subject aims to provide students with leadership knowledge and skills to apply leadership principles and theories, on the basis of which students will be able to formulate ambitious goals, form a team needed to achieve goals, motivate and inspire them to achieve goals, identify causes of conflicts and resolve constructive conflicts, communicate effectively, make appropriate decisions work management.

Art of eloquence. The aim of the subject is to provide students with the knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of rhetoric and eloquence; to analyse the patterns of communication; to know the history of rhetoric and modern art of elocution; to be able to prepare for speaking publicly and prove one’s statements. Graduates perceive theoretical and practical aspects of the eloquence, clearly prove their statements and prepare public speeches.

 

14 - Second Foreing language (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The aim of the subject is to provide students with knowledge and skills of a second foreign language, to improve their personal communication skills in a foreign language, to develop independent language learning and self-control skills, to improve the competence to learn to learn

 

15 - Final practice (6 ECTS Credits)

 

The aim is to develop future manager‘s practical skills by 6 working in the business. Graduates are able to carry out a situation analysis of the company's activities; know possible sources of information and use them. They perform marketing mix analysis and justify company's marketing strategy, know preparation documents of the company's strategic plan and organization of quality system in the company, are able to perform an analysis of personnel systems and assess employee motivation system as well as perform the financial analysis; know the financing sources and company's taxes paid; are able to conduct business partners’ search.

 

16 - Final tesis (9 ECTS Credits)

 

Expose the student to theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies acquired by studying all subjects in terms of business management study program plan. Graduates are able to set up a business, explore the market, plan business activity, organize the company's operations, manage staff, monitor the state of business, provide business development directions, improve the skills acquired, taking into account constant changes in the market.

1 - Sociology (3 ECTS Credits)

 

During subject study students are introduced to theoretical and practical sociology aspects,  sociological thinking is formed, skills for social world analysis, understanding and links between social, economical, political and cultural environments, analysis assessment of society life phenomena, development of self-awareness, critical thinking on everyday knowledge.

 

2 - Professional foreign language (6 ECTS Credits)

 

Graduates will be able to communicate and cooperate in foreign language freely and  spontaneously, will be able to use foreign language for professional activity; will be able to read specialty literature in foreign language, will systematically develop professional language vocabulary, will be able to manage changes.

 

3 - Basics of Economics (4 ECTS Credits)

 

Will understand the key elements and functioning of the market economy. Will characterize the country's economic sectors and will understand economic flows. Will understand the market mechanism and factors determining the supply and demand changes. Will be able to calculate the company's cost of production and to determine the optimal output. Will know the market competitive models and their operation. Will be able to calculate and interpret the macro-economic indicators. Will analyze the country's macro-economic processes and the need for regulatory measures.

 

Will understand elements and problems of an open economy. Will have ability to combine economic knowledge with accounting field practical activity.

 

4 - Applied Mathematics (4 ECTS Credits)

 

Will form and solve systems of linear equations. Will apply functional theory concepts, differentiation for functions elasticity determination. Will form and solve differential equations. Will form the production, transportation, materials, economy, work planning mathematical models and optimal plans. Will be able to solve financial mathematics tasks using computer programs. Will form basic financial transaction models.

Will be able to analyze and evaluate investments. Will have ability to organize and systematize the existing data. Will be able to process the data collected, make hypotheses, predict.

 

5 - Statistics (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Will understand purpose of statistics, goals of statistical research and tasks. Will know statistical information search principles. Will know statistical data analysis methods and usage possibilities. Will apply statistical methods for various calculations, data and graphical analysis. Will generalize collected statistical information on accountancy management, will analyze. Will be able to perform statistical calculations. Will be able to evaluate statistical performance indicators and prepare statistical reports. Will be able to integrate statistical data analysis methods researching qualitative and quantitative company performance indicators. Will be able to present and interpret statistical information. Will be able to work individually and in group.

 

6 - Finance Accountancy + K (15 ECTS Credits)

 

Will know Business accountancy standards; Will know accountancy regulating legal acts; Will fill financial accountability forms; Will register economic operations in accountancy registers; Will prepare information and present it to users; Will control subject’s economic activity; Will apply accountancy regulating legal acts.

 

7 - Management Accountancy (6 ECTS Credits)   

 

Will prepare management accountancy reports; Will use information acquire methods; Will evaluate accuracy of information and reliability; Will use financial análisis methods; Will systematize management accountancy results; Will manage money flows; Will know activity planning methods, Will prepare subject’s activity budgets.

 

8 - Computerized Accounting (8 ECTS Credits)     

 

Will create database, fill in primary information. Will adapt software modules for accountancy management. Will form primary documents. Will prepare payments’ forecast reports. Will prepare various reports and deliver to users. 

Will acquire learning skills with new appearing in the market computer accountancy software.

 

9 - Audit (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Will know audit standards, audit implementation principles and procedures. Will be able to prepare audit plan and program, define audit procedures and tests. Will be able to prepare audit report.

 

10 - Financial Analysis +K (6 ECTS Credits)

 

Will know importance of financial analysis, objects and methods. Will analyze financial, statistical and taxation reports’ data. Will calculate financial solvency, profitability, liquidity indicators, will form cash flow report. Will evaluate financial indicators, forecast cash flows. Wil prepare reasoned proposals for economy subject strategic goals.

 

11 - Accounting in the public sector (8 ECTS Credits)

 

Will know Standards of Public Sector accountancy and accountability; content of financial accountability and procedures. Will know property, liabilities, income and expense recognition criteria. Will fill financial documents.

Will prepare financial state reports. Will get acquainted with various reporting procedures. Will prepare information and present to the users.

 

12 - Public Administration (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Will understand traditional public administration model and impact of modern Public Service to society. Will understand strategic planning methodic in Public Sector institution activity planning. Will know public services and accounting. Will know public administration principles and implementation. Will recognize public and private sector functions. Will be able to fill primary documents, make records in registers, account company’s property, capital, liabilities, income and expenses, carry out the accounting year-end accounting procedures, prepare set of financial statements, statistical, tax accountability, declare taxes, work with accounting software. Will be able to summarize, analyze and systematize organization's financial reporting data, assess the financial condition and results of operations, submit proposals for management, financing, investment and other issues. La Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Panevėžys (Lituania) publica tres titulaciones universitarias de Grado dirigidas a titulados en ciclos formativos de Grado Superior de Decroly.

 

La institución lituana dio a conocer el plan de estudios de tres titulaciones oficiales universitarias de Grado, homologables en los 47 países miembros del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES), para los titulados en ciclos formativos de Grado Superior de Decroly y, por extensión-, de cualquier otro centro de Formación Profesional que imparta estos estudios del sistema educativo español.

Se trata de un programa de estudios dirigido a todas aquellas personas que posean el título de Técnico Superior en Gestión de Ventas y Espacios Comerciales (GVEC), Administración y Finanzas (AyF) o Administración de Sistemas Informáticos en Red (ASIR).

Los interesados podrán cursar los estudios universitarios de Grado en Business Management, Accounting y Computer Network Administration de tres años de duración, en tres semestres, en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Panevėžys al convalidar automáticamente los 120 créditos ECTS -Sistema Europeo de Transferencia de Créditos- de los ciclos formativos de Grado Superior de GVEC, AyF o ASIR, respectivamente. Estos programas estarán operativos a partir del próximo curso escolar 2021-2022.

 

Programa de estudios

 

Los estudios se cursan en inglés, en modalidad presencial, si bien, en el tercer semestre, se realizarán online. 

En el caso de Business Management, el alumnado cursará, en el primer semestre, siete asignaturas que acumulan 30 créditos ECTS; en el segundo semestre, otras tantas que suman 27 créditos ECTS y en el tercer semestre, dos asignaturas más, un trabajo fin de grado y unas prácticas en empresas que añaden 30 créditos. TOTAL: 87 créditos ECTS.

El programa del título de Accounting, mantiene una secuencia similar. En el primer semestre, seis asignaturas, 30 créditos; en el segundo, cinco materias, 30 créditos y en el tercero, dos asignaturas, un trabajo fin de grado y unas prácticas en empresas que completan 29 créditos. TOTAL: 89 créditos ECTS.

En lo que atañe al título de Computer Network Administration, el alumnado estudiará en el primer semestre siete asignaturas que reúnen 30 créditos ECTS; en el segundo semestre, otras tantas que suman 30 créditos ECTS y en el tercer semestre, un trabajo fin de grado y unas prácticas en empresas que incrementan 18 créditos. TOTAL: 78 créditos ECTS.

 

Organización de los estudios

 

La duración de los estudios para los poseedores de un título de Técnico Superior es de 1,5 años (3 semestres). El primer año, las actividades de enseñanza aprendizaje se realizarán de forma presencial (60 créditos ECTS), en Panevėžys. El tercer y último semestre se organizará a distancia, a través de una plataforma de aprendizaje virtual u otras tecnologías de la información y comunicación.

El alojamiento durante la estancia del alumnado en la universidad podrá ser en una habitación individual (50-60 EUR al mes), en la residencia de estudiantes de Panevėžio Kolegija.

En este último semestre, los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de completar sus estudios mediante participación en el programa de intercambio Erasmus+ y recibir una beca de unos 500-700 euros al mes. Esa movilidad Erasmus también se podrá realizar en España.

El procedimiento de solicitud de plaza y de la beca correspondiente para asegurar la gratuidad de la matrícula, en su caso, para cada una de las tres carreras precitadas, debe tramitarse mediante una de las dos aplicaciones posibles:

Study language: English.


Study duration: 1.5 years (3 semesters). 78 credits are provided to achieve the study results of the study program: study subjects - 60 credits, final practice - 9 credits, final project - 9 credits.


Realizacion of studies: studies will be performed in a permanent / permanent session form.


Study methods: contact works (part of the studies will be carried out remotely), non-contact works, practice, final project design. Teaching by distance non-contact work in a virtual learning environment or using other information communication technologies.


Degree and professional qualification: Professional Bachelor of Computing.


Objective(s) of the study programme: to train informatics engineering professionals being able to design, implement and administrate company and organization computer networks, operate servers and organize the related engineering activities.

STUDIED MODULES (SUBJECTS) DESCRIPTIONS

 

1 - Professional foreign language (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject course is assigned to the student, who has already obtained the language level not lower than B1, i.e. capable of communicating in conventional situations. The course comprises the specific language assigned to master the necessary professional vocabulary. Communicational language is also further developed. The content of the course allows the student to repeat and deepen the acquired grammar structures which is sufficient for verbal and written communication. Priority is set for the professional language material, therefore the student‘s language skills are being steadily developed and improved. The teaching material is consolidated by repetition and addition of new linguistic elements, grammar structures and professional lexis. 

 

2 - Sociology (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The course comprises the teaching material that provides students with the knowledge about theoretical and practical aspects of the science of sociology, sociological thinking, ability to analyse the social world, understand and relate social, economic, political and cultural environments, what is more, to analyse and estimate the phenomena of the society life, to educate introspection and crucial moments in the way of daily awareness are also formed in the course.

 

3 - Physics (3 ECTS Credits)

 

Students will able to understand the laws of kinematics, dynamics, thermodynamics, atomic physics, optics and to apply the laws of physics for solving practical tasks and to calculate the physical quantities characterizing the state of bodies. Using simple laboratory equipment,will able to measure the physical characteristics and dependencies of bodies, to assess the accuracy of measurements. The content of the course allows the student to check and illustrate the laws of physics, to draw conclusions about the causes of observed deviations from current laws.

 

4 - Applied mathematics module (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The module course is designed to provide students with the knowledge of higher mathematics to apply it in further studies and practical activity. Therefore, students solve linear equation systems and learn to perform operations with complex figures. They calculate limits, the derivatives of the functions of one and some variables. What is more, students apply integration in technical calculations, differential equations are done not only analytically, but also using numerical solving methods and they apply the key notions of set and graph theories. Students spread functions in Furze, Tailor and MacLean lines, apply them in approximate calculations, and solve linear programming (production and transportation) problems. They make up mathematical models of production problems and apply approximation methods in calculations. Moreover, students handle and systemize available data, process the collected data and hypothesize. Finally, they apply the software programs (Mathcad, Matlab, Excel), the knowledge from the set and graph theories, also, the main notions of combinatory, mathematical logics, including Bull‘s algebra, therefore, they apply the attained knowledge in their professional subjects.

 

5 - Programming module (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The module course is designed to familiarize students with the fundamentals of forming algorithms and programming in the Ruby language. Therefore, students are taught: to design and create programs in high-level languages, use the Ruby environment, its modules and libraries; to use object-oriented programming technology in practice; they are familiarized with the conception of the agent modelling and its link with the objectoriented programming, with the fundamentals of the programming language C++ in the Builder environment and the principles of object-oriented programming; students are taught to design the user interface C++ with the help of the Builder component library,  they are familiarized with graphic C++ tools, can prepare programs for distribution and create assistance systems; students are also familiarized with the fundamentals of programming in the Java environment, they learn to design the user interface with the help of the Java component library, are familiarized with graphic Java tools and can design database controlling programs in the Java environment and create Java applets in WEB pages. 

 

6 - Electronics (6 ECTS Credits)

 

Students will acquire knowledge of the basics of electronics and can applied it‘s for operation of electronic devices. The student will be able to analyze the parameters, characteristics and troubleshootings of electronic components and circuits in computer systems. Will be able to manage and analyze standard, special technical documentation. Design logic and electrical schematics of typical digital circuits will study too. 

 

7 - Embedded systems (3 ECTS Credits)   

 

Embedded systems study subject aims is to provide knowledge about electronic systems controlled by microprocessors or microcontrollers. Real-time systems are being created by using 

PIC, AVR, STM microchips. Arduino, Raspberry Pi and other  microcomputers boards are using too. Students develops applications for Embedded systems using Assembler, C++, Java, Python programming languages. Finally, students will be able to design PCB of electronics system, create an apps, develop and debug it. 

 

8 - Programming for mobile devices (3 ECTS Credits)     

 

Students will know the application possibilities of mobile web services in business processes; will know the basics of mobile device operating systems; will know the tools and developing software for smart devices. Will be able to design applications for Android OS (or iOS) according to the task. Will know the basics of Java and XML. Will be able to create applications in Android Studio (or X-Code) environment. Will be able to apply security measures for mobile devices. 

 

9 - Technologies of cloud computing (3 ECTS Credits)

 

The subject course is designed to familiarize students with the cloud computing architecture and service types; acquires knowledges for cloud computing solutions using the existing popular cloud platforms and services via Python programming language; develops virtual machines and control its, analyze the common platforms of cloud computing service providers. 

 

10 - Internet of the things (6 ECTS Credits)

 

Students will be able to  install IoT technology hardware and software, select, debug, and program microprocessor systems. The studies subject is to analyze the functional units based on Arduino, STM 32 and Rasberi_PI, their hardware and software. Teaches the design, implementation and debugging of networked intelligent control systems which are operating on wired or wireless networks

 

11 - Computer network administration practice (6 ECTS Credits)

 

Computer network administration practice is organized in the Cisco laboratory. The practice is assigned for consolidating the knowledge which is attained during the lectures of the fundamentals of computer networks.  Therefore, students attain practical skills while designing computer networks and selecting the hardware and the software. Finally, they are able to remove technical failures and debug computer networks. 

 

12 - Final practice (9 ECTS Credits)

 

The main objective of the practice is to provide students with the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge and professional competences that they have gained during studies in practice; acquire practical skills of professional work about IT engineering processes which are carried out in the company, moreover, to collect the data which will be important for their graduation project. 

 

13 - Final thesis (9 ECTS Credits)

 

Graduation project is the student’s individual work which demonstrates the study learning outcomes the graduate has achieved. The project shows the graduate‘s abilities to organize and apply theoretical and practical skills. The CNA student carries out the research studies of data flows, selects and grounds logic network schemes, computer hardware and software, installs servers, designs networks for smart devices, microprocessor network devices, creates software and mobile applications.
